Days following Rey Fenix tearing up his Promociones Dorado contract, his mentor Konnan has brokered a world heavyweight championship title fight for the popular luchador.

Rey Fenix (cornered by Konnan) vs. World Heavyweight Champion Low Ki (presented by Salina de la Renta) has been signed for MLW WAR GAMES® at Fort Lauderdale’s War Memorial Auditorium!

The super card will also feature a FUSION TV taping for beIN SPORTS.

Ticket start at just $10. You can purchase tickets now at MLWgo.com.

With Konnan exposing Salina de la Renta’s corrupt ways on MLW FUSION, Fenix along with his brother Pentagon Jr. ripped up their contracts with Salina de la Renta.  In the aftermath Salina cautioned severe consequences.

The September 6th title fight marks Low Ki’s second title defense since dethroning Shane Strickland July 12th.  Since winning the title, Low Ki has entered into a business partnership with Salina de la Renta’s Promociones Dorado, which acts as a pipeline to Latin America for sports leagues, TV and film in the United States and abroad.
