•In preparation for his December 14th championship title fight, Konnan has been training in San Diego at the Bad Boy MMA gym. The focus of his training has been on low impact high-results strategies to make every second in his quest for the belt count. While the legendary luchador has been known for his rolling clothesline and Tequila Sunrise, the Cuban consiglieri has been on and off training for 15+ years in jiu-jitsu for conditioning.
•While Promociones Dorado has been politicking to delay Daga‘s return, Daga’s camp indicates the master of Mexican Strong Style will be back in an MLW ring in 2019. Still recovering from his ear injuries, Daga will be spending most of December in Japan competing against some of the best in the country.
•Several MLW wrestlers… as well as outsiders have been pushing to be added to the December 14th World Middleweight ladder match in Miami.
•Joey Ryan and Marko Stunt are both out indefinitely due to injuries. The entire league wishes both a healthy and speedy recovery.
•469 pound Barrington Hughes recently called 400 pound Ace Romero to congratulate him on inking a deal with MLW. His next call? MLW’s front office asking for a match against “Acey Baby”. Could we see the battle of super heavyweights in MLW in 2019?
