Hart Foundation-Dynasty arbitration ends with a verdict

The Hart Foundation-Richard Holliday/MJF arbitration hearing at the league’s New York offices concluded moments ago.

While the ruling remains under wraps for the moment, the outcome is expected to be revealed later this morning.

While all champions are automatically granted a championship rematch, the Hart Foundation hit a wall upon requesting their title shot.  Despite the league’s interest in such a match, the Dynasty have legally blocked the title bout.

How could the Dynasty block a contractually obligated title rematch?

Simple: the Dynasty had the good fortune of Richard Holliday’s family of lawyers who added some fine print in the contract: a morals clause.

Citing Teddy Hart’s “extracurricular activities,” MJF and Holliday quickly invoked said morals clause. Thus seemingly ending the Hart Foundation’s pursuit of the tag team championship.

With the Hart Foundation disputing these claims and the league desiring a resolution to who is next in line for a title match, MLW hosted an arbitration hearing this morning.

Sources indicate the Dynasty marched in a dream team of New York lawyers into the meeting room at MLW’s offices.

Both sides reportedly presented evidence supporting their positions with things getting “intense” and “confrontational” at certain points.

The hearing concluded with the arbitrator’s decision being rendered. What is that decision?

Was the Dynasty’s morals clause upheld?

Will the Hart Foundation’s bid for a rematch be granted?
