Austin Aries has been aggressive in public and behind closed doors about his campaign for a World Middleweight Title match.
Returning to MLW in June with a big win over Australia’s top ranked middleweight Adam Brooks. Aries would continue climbing the middleweight rankings this August with a win over Ace Austin.
Aries has punctuated each victory with a post-match interview where the polarizing pro wrestler called out Teddy Hart and demanded a title match.
Once known as the belt collector, some are beginning to call Aries the Hart hunter for his continued campaign for a championship match.
Recently, Aries called out another member of the Hart Foundation in rookie Brian Pillman Jr. This escalated to the two signing a bout sheet for a match in Dallas September 7. [Buy tickets]
Never one to back down from a fight, Teddy Hart has told MLW.com he’s not shy about fighting Aries and putting his belt on the line for a record 6th title defense.
