MLW.com has learned league officials are investigating an incident involving “Filthy” Tom Lawlor where he may or may not have committed grand theft auto.
As seen on Pulp FUSION (watch), the former World Heavyweight Champion was involved in an altercation resulting in Lawlor commandeering a 2017 Kia Sedona.
Las Vegas authorities have confirmed Lawlor is a “person of interest” but refused to elaborate on if charges are pending.
“Mr. Lawlor is an adult and is responsible for his own decisions,” said an anonymous league official. “If he is convicted of a crime, MLW will take appropriate actions. Until that point in time, we will continue our own internal investigation.”
Tom Lawlor has recently been fixated on traveling to Hawaii, which happens to be the home of the World Tag Team Champions Ross and Marshall Von Erich.
