MLW headquarters in disarray following CONTRA occupation

“It’s a real mess in there, pal,” said a masked worker as he exited MLW’s headquarters with a bin full of debris.

While fans and wrestlers alike celebrated MLW striking back against CONTRA and successfully retaking of the league’s Westchester, New York offices last week, the celebration was short-lived for management.  Upon vanquishing CONTRA from the premises, officials and wrestlers were shocked to see the state of their new offices in such disarray.

File cabinets had been plundered with paperwork shredded, confidential documents looted, missing hard drives, precious MLW heirlooms dating back to the original run burned and destroyed… and then there’s the physical damage to the building itself.

“This is going to take a lot of money and a lot of time to get the offices remotely close to what it looked like before (the hostile takeover),” said an anonymous MLW source. “… and we have no idea what they took at this point and how that could further cause unforeseen problems.”

Early projects from a local contractor indicate it could take 4-5 months to fully restore the offices to their original state.  In the meantime, the plan is for a good portion of the staff to remain working virtually while a small segment of the production and broadcast operations work quickly to get the production and transmission equipment up and running in time for #TheRestart on November 18th.

In the meantime, heavy security is posted outside the offices to ensure CONTRA does not attempt another takeover of MLW’s headquarters.
