As Filthy as it gets

There’s been great discussion about the “fighting environment” for Filthy Island. Today UFC cage fighter turned Filthy Island promoter Tom Lawlor finally went on record with MLW.com about what fans… and fighting athletes can expect.

MLW.com has learned that the February 17th card from Hawaii will in fact feature a ring with… no ropes. “Ropes are for cowards,” stated Dan Lambert, founder of American Top Team. Lambert was recently confirmed as the fight analyst for Filthy Island.

No rope matches have been featured in the past in MLW, including a 2018 NHB contest in Miami between Lawlor and Simon Gotch as well as a 2019 NHB fight in Dallas, which also featured Gotch.

Who will triumph on Filthy Island? Tune in Wednesday night, February 17th to find out!
