Matt Riddle and Austin Aries’ increasingly bitter championship rivalry comes into focus on MLW FUSION this Thursday at 8 PM ET, streaming free on Tubi. With their MLW National Openweight Championship fight just 48 hours away, the time for promises is nearly over.
Riddle wanted the match, and Aries agreed to it. Now “The Rude Dude” believes he can take the championship while knocking the arrogance out of the man holding it.
Aries sees a very different outcome. The champion insists he will embarrass Riddle and demonstrate a gap in ability that the challenger has failed to recognize.
FUSION revisits the rivalry as both men make their final preparations for Saturday Night SuperFight. Each has confidently predicted what will happen, but only one can leave Chicago with the championship.
Riddle also checks in with Killer Kross before the World Heavyweight Championship main event. With “The Rude Dude” involved, even a conversation about fight preparation may not remain strictly business.
