Representing the 305, Montel Vontavious Porter – better known as MVP – keeps it 100 in and out of the ring.
Known for holding court at some of Miami’s most exclusive night clubs and spending his days rolling on Ocean Drive with some of the most beautiful women you’ll ever set eyes on, MVP often refers to himself as “half man, half amazing.”
An international hustler extraordinaire, MVP has won gold in both the United States and Japan for New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Now, he sets his sights on winning gold in Major League Wrestling.
When not ballin’ in the ring, MVP can be found rolling on the mats as an avid practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. When he’s not getting physical, he is often recording music in the studio. MVP even has his own podcast – the VIP Lounge – on the MLW Radio Network.
MVP grew up on the streets of Miami, which helped him design his own fighting system, which he refers to as “Ghetto Strong Style.”
Referring to himself as the Ronin out of his respect for the way of the ronin samurai, MVP is one of the more experienced and accomplished wrestlers in MLW.
