After rejecting the Serpent’s clandestine missions, Mads Krule Krugger publicly renounced the path of blind obedience, declaring he would fight as a world champion on his own terms rather than serve the will of an unseen master. That act of defiance branded Krugger a blasphemer in the eyes of CONTRA.
The response was swift… and merciless.
CONTRA Unit launched a savage assault at Battle RIOT that left Krugger a former MLW World Champion, beaten, stuffed inside a body bag, and abandoned in the swamps to die.

Throughout the conflict, the Serpent remained hidden, broadcasting chilling propaganda promising unrelenting terror upon Krugger for his betrayal while dispatching new soldiers to strengthen CONTRA Unit’s ranks.
