Following MLW: One-Shot, Shane Strickland and Sami Callihan were attacked outside the venue. After reviewing footage that was recently acquired, MLW officials have confirmed that one of the two assailants has now been identified as Darby Allin.
The identity of the second attacker remains unknown. We encourage anyone with footage of this incident to contact MLW officials.
MLW officials have confirmed that Shane Strickland will be medically cleared to compete at MLW: Never Say Never.
However, Sami Callihan suffered significant injuries including multiple contusions. He is not expected to be medically cleared until early 2018.
The altercation, which took place at approximately 10:55pm ET on Thursday October 5th, resulted in both Callihan and Strickland receiving medical attention.
An investigation is on going and MLW.com can confirm that officials are evaluating disciplinary actions against Darby Allin and all that participated in the assault. Any fans with footage to help identify the attackers is encouraged to contact MLW.
Special thanks to fan Gary Williams for coming forward with this footage.
