Major League Wrestling (MLW) is seeking a highly skilled Assembly Editor with proven experience assembling weekly professional wrestling programming. This is a fast-paced, creative position where precision, speed, and deep knowledge of the sport are essential.
⚠️ MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- You must include a reel showcasing your work as an assembly editor on professional wrestling content.
- You must have prior experience assembling a weekly professional wrestling series as an editor.
- You must have strong knowledge of the sport of professional wrestling, the MLW product, and its presentation style.

Responsibilities
- Edit & Assemble Content: Prepare weekly episodes of MLW programming from live events, TV tapings, and pre-tapes. Includes show assembly, sizzle reels, behind-the-scenes features, commercials, and sponsored content.
- Workflow Optimization: Organize and streamline post-production processes to ensure timely delivery in MLW’s fast-moving schedule.
- Collaboration: Work closely with MLW producers, directors, graphic artists, and other post-production staff to deliver a cohesive and compelling show.
- Software Proficiency: Work within Adobe Premiere (mandatory) and Adobe After Effects for editing and motion graphics.
- Multiple Projects Management: Handle multiple edits simultaneously while meeting broadcast deadlines.
Required Skills & Background
- Mandatory experience assembling a weekly professional wrestling series.
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere; proficiency with Adobe After Effects is strongly preferred.
- Strong editorial storytelling skills — knowing how to pace a match, build drama, and enhance character narratives.
- Solid understanding of post-production workflows, asset management, and file-based media.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction in a collaborative environment.
- Passion for the sport of professional wrestling and familiarity with MLW’s brand, tone, and style.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with documentary, narrative television, or music-driven content.
- Knowledge of color correction, sound mixing, and motion graphics.
- Background editing live sports or combat sports programming.
