Paul Walter Hauser will address the MLW audience and Tom Lawlor for the first time since the brutal attack by “Filthy” Tom.
The tension between Hauser and Lawlor, which began at Battle RIOT VI, has reached a boiling point. Hauser isn’t just an actor turned pro wrestling but a diehard wrestling aficionado. The Emmy and Golden Globe winner brought a rare and valuable 1991 prototype of the infamous Arachnaman costume to the event, celebrating his love for Center Stage wrestling’s golden era.
The unique memorabilia was shockingly stolen, and an imposter Arachnaman entered the RIOT. Hauser confronted the masked man, unveiling him as none other than Tom Lawlor, and promptly got him eliminated from the match.
The animosity escalated at MLW Anniversary’24 during an appearance by Hauser on “Sessions by Saint Laurent.” The interview took a violent turn when Lawlor ambushed Hauser, viciously assaulting him with a steel chair. The unprovoked attack sent Hauser to the hospital, leaving fans and fellow wrestlers in shock.
