MLW kicks off 2025 deep in the heart of Texas as Dallas is ready to get rocked with Kings Of Colosseum and the league wastes no time in getting to the hard-hitting action. Kicking the new year off is Eric Bischoff’s Gravity Gamble match. You pull down the briefcase with the Golden Paper Contract and you get yourself a MLW World Title shot.
Kevin Knight was a last minute addition to the fight but The Andersons made sure he didn’t make it to the ring as he was attacked during his entrance. Subbing in for him was his Bomaye brother in Mr. Thomas! Chaos is already going down and the match is underway!

Matthew Justice vs. Mr. Thomas vs. Mads Krule Krugger vs. AKIRA vs. BRG
Justice, your National Openweight Champ made sure this match got extreme with a BARBED WIRE ladder. This match is as violent as advertised and the massive Mads is the one to pull down the briefcase with the Golden Paper Contract!

MLW Women’s World Featherweight Championship
Hair vs Title Match
Delmi Exo (with Jesus Rodriguez) vs. Janai Kai (c)
Exo has shown that never quit attitude despite Kai’s dominance of the Featherweight division. It’s now or never for Delmi and she knows it. Kai continues to be ruthless in her offense, but Delmi admirably perseveres and get THE WIN against Kai. Janai’s dominant reign is over! Cesar Duran comes out to celebrate with ‘The God Queen’ as she begins her unprecedented second reign as Featherweight Champion.

Backstage, we see Matt Riddle with Tom Lawlor. The Filthy Bros reflects on Matt’s recent journey back to MLW but Riddle notes this match tonight has been seven years in the making. Lawlor clearly respects the work Riddle has done to get to where he is and The Super King Of Bros looks ready to go tonight.

Donovan Dijak vs. KENTA
This fight is a teeter totter of hard-hitting shots and offense by both individuals. KENTA has added incentive for pain as it was Dijak who had put him on the shelf to close out 2024. However, Dijak has hijacked the match in his favor and he gets the victory against a very game KENTA.
WINNER: Donovan Dijak
Post fight, Joe Dombrowski aims for an interview but MSL denies such actions. MSL claims his previous alliance with Lawlor was costing him money, but that’s not the case with Dijak. They plan to dominate and disrupt!
That’s what Tom Lawlor decided to do as he tried to get hands on MSL, but security breaks things up.
We see Cesar in his office with Salina. The two received a mysterious video and it’s of D’Oro being tortured by a mysterious figure behind bars! An individual behind the camera calls out Duran, noting that he has suffered due to Cesar’s actions and the torturing of D’Oro continues as Salina’s baby daddy screams. De La Renta is beside herself as Duran doesn’t know what to do.

Máscara Dorado vs. Averno vs. Esfinge
This lucha three-way is as advertised with a quick pace and top-notch athleticism. It’s actually Averno who gets the hard earned victory when he gets the W against Esfinge.

We see Joe Dombrowski sit down with Paul Walter Hauser. Hauser praises Dallas for its hospitality but is interrupted by The Rogue Horsemen in Brock and CW Anderson. PWH isn’t happy they targeted his fellow Paul in Paul London, but The Andersons warn Hauser to make haste if he knows what’s good. Hauser at first seems to oblige but ends up rocking CW from behind with the help of BOMAYE Fight Club. Out comes Bobby Fish and Paul London and it’s absolutel insanity going down! Alex Kane grabs the mic and notes that a revolution is set to go down – and that’s on BOMAYE.
A big reveal: KUSHIDA is returning to MLW!

Matt Riddle vs. Satoshi Kojima (c)
The stakes are high and the crowd is electric for this long-awaited fight. Both fighters are locked in and the action of the fight proves that. Riddle is able to show his hybrid ability against the unprecedented champion in Kojima. Satoshi looks to have Riddle dead to rights with a well-timed Lariato, but Riddle reverses into a flying triangle choke hold. KOJIMA is trapped and has no other choice but to submit! New champion!
