The stacked line-up for MLW’s return to Dallas-Fort Worth continues with the mysterious and menacing Difunto, representing Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).
Shrouded in mystique and malice, Difunto—Spanish for “the deceased”—emerges from the shadows with a haunting mask, skeletal imagery, and an ominous presence that unnerves opponents before the first lock-up. A member of CMLL’s sinister unit El Galeón Fantasma, Difunto thrives in psychological warfare, combining unpredictable offense with a chilling in-ring demeanor.
Most recently, Difunto shocked fans in Arena México by tearing the mask off top star Templario, drawing disqualification and intensifying their heated rivalry. The act was a chilling reminder of Difunto’s total disregard for tradition, rules, or honor. He’s not here for applause—he’s here to plunder.
His resume includes holding the Occidente Trios Championship alongside fellow rudos Zandokan Jr. and Barboza, and being a fixture in CMLL’s darker, more chaotic matches. His actions speak louder than wins or losses—each appearance is a statement of defiance, danger, and decay.
Now, as part of MLW President Cesar Duran’s curated global showcase Sept 13, Difunto brings his cryptic chaos to FIGHTLAND in North Richland Hills.
