Killer Kross and Matt Riddle find themselves on the same side against The Skyscrapers on MLW FUSION this Thursday at 8 PM ET, streaming free on Tubi. Scarlett Bordeaux will be in their corner, but the biggest question may be whether the champion and his rival can trust each other once the bell rings.
Kross and Riddle bring history, tension and unresolved championship business into the partnership. Riddle has continued circling the MLW World Heavyweight Title picture, and teaming with the Blood King does not erase his interest in the gold around Kross’ waist.
For one match, however, they share a problem large enough to demand their full attention. Donovan Dijak and Josh Bishop have made their intentions clear, and beating the champion and Riddle would give The Skyscrapers another major statement in their pursuit of power.
Dijak and Bishop do not need to manufacture bad blood between their opponents; it already exists. Any hesitation over a tag, disagreement over strategy or lapse in cooperation could give the towering duo exactly the opening they need.
Can Kross and Riddle turn their individual firepower into a winning team? Or will The Skyscrapers discover that bringing down two enemies is easier when those enemies are supposed to be partners?
