Jimmy Yuta to fight Turkey’s Vandal Ortagun at Never Say Never

Jimmy Yuta captured the attention of both fans and matchmakers at MLW: One-Shot with a strong outing against another top prospect in Maxwell Jacob Friedman.  Drawing comparisons to a young Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat by Tony Schiavone, the 21 year old rookie impressed MLW matchmakers so much so that he has signed on to return to Major League Wrestling December 7th at MLW: Never Say Never.

Yuta will face Turkey’s top ranked grappler Vandal Ortagun.

Ortagun, a well versed international competitor based out of Istanbul, has wrestled in over 26 countries including: Mexico, Turkey, Puerto Rico and Japan.  Ortagun was an alternate in the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic and has been a semi-regular on NXT the past two years.

A clash of two international upstarts, Jimmy Yuta is also no stranger to competing abroad.

Returning from an extended stay in Japan where Yuta competed in Michinoku Pro Wrestling, Yuta wrestled against the likes of the Great Sasuke, Ultimo Dragon, Dick Togo and many other legends.

In addition to competing on the Michinoku Pro circuit, Jimmy trained in the organization’s dojo. Mentored by Jinsei “Hakushi” Shinzaki, Jimmy looks to impress fans when he faces Vandal Ortagun at MLW: Never Say Never.
