Will Hager’s Swagger Overcome Cobb?
Two grapplers with impeccable amateur backgrounds lock up as former All-America from the University of Oklahoma Jake Hager bangs with Olympian Jeff Cobb. The newest member of Col. Robert Parker’s Stud Stable, Hager makes his first appearance in an MLW ring on tonight’s episode. Hager, a 2 sport athlete, jumps right into the fire against Jeff Cobb, who was in the inaugural MLW Top 10 last month at No. 8. Who will come out on top in this battle of seasoned amateur and professional wrestlers? It’s our first matchup of the evening. Don’t tune in late!
Salty Salina?
Despite World Heavyweight Champion Shane Strickland’s victory over Pentagon Jr. last week, impresaria of Promociones Dorado Salina de la Renta is still lusting after Swerve’s title. The two had a confrontation shortly after Strickland’s victory over Pentagon and MLW.com cameras were rolling. See what Salina had to say to Swerve tonight on FUSION!
Top 10 Time!
Promoters from around the world have sent in their votes for the pound-for-pound top 10. Don’t miss tonight’s episode of FUSION to see who cracked the Top 10, who has moved up the list and maybe even who might have slid out of the Top 10.
Swann Lands In MLW
In our second big debut of a fighter known the world over, Rich Swann will face off with the scrappy Kotto Brazil. Swann, a decorated athlete in the world of professional wrestling he brings his high-flying, high-impact style – and dancing – to Major League Wrestling. Meanwhile, the resilient underdog Kotto Brazil is still looking for his first victory on FUSION. Could Brazil spring the huge upset and ground Swann in his debut? Brazil will find out the answer to the question “Can you handle this?” tonight on beIN SPORTS!
Desperado vs. Bad Boy
Sami Callihan has been promising to continue growing his army of “Death Machines.” Who will be with him tonight as he heads to war against the “Bad Boy” Joey Janela? While Janela will have Aria Blake in his corner, he’ll likely face long odds against the “Worldwide Desperado” and any of his almost cult-like followers who may be along for the ride. While we know Callihan is dangerous and may not come alone, we also know the unpredictable Janela can absolutely take a beating and keep coming back for more. Considering the background and actions of the combatants, tonight’s second main event is sure to be one of the most hard-hitting matches we’ve seen in MLW for a while.
Don’t miss it! It all goes down tonight on MLW: FUSION!
