The “Haitian Sensation” is officially in the major leagues.
Kotto Brazil, who has enjoyed an impressive 2018, signed a multi-year deal with Major League Wrestling this past week.
“Kotto was a walk on for MLW,” said MLW CEO Court Bauer. “I remember sitting down with him on his first night and saying if you bring it, there will be immense opportunity for you here. Kotto kicked down that door and has shown Kotto can and then some. Kotto is major league material and we’re glad to make it official today.”
Known for his immense heart and determination, Kotto turned heads with impressive outings against Rich Swann and Sami Callihan on MLW FUSION.
The popular middleweight has had issues with Callihan since the late spring. Callihan and the Death Machines have been an imposing presence and problem for Kotto and his friends.
September 6 Kotto will have his shot at Callihan and the Death Machines as he competes in the War Games match in Fort Lauderdale (buy tickets).
