Colonel Parker’s attempts to promote wrestling on barges sunk

Colonel Robert Parker has an itch to promote fights and while delayed doing so in MLW due to the pandemic, that didn’t stop the colonel from pursuing other… more untraditional paths.

A source close to the founder of the Stud Stable alleges the colonel attempted to promote unsanctioned wrestling contests on barges and steamships off of the port of Tampa Bay.

Unfortunately for Parker, those efforts have been dashed by the US Coast Guard.

Parker, whose family has been involved in the sport for over 100 years, has managed some of the sports all-time greats.  The bombastic Tennessean has been crowing for weeks that he will soon reveal his newest signee.

When reached by phone poolside while he tanned, the southern blowhard denied any involvement with the outlaw barge shows but did promise nothing would get in his way from having a big 2020 in the sport.
