Opposites attack as Killer Kross and Josh Bishop face Mistico and Austin Aries in a Taboo Tangle at MLW FIGHTLAND, streaming free this Thursday at 8 PM ET on Tubi. Before either team can worry about its opponents, it must confront the problem standing in its own corner.
Kross will share that corner with Bishop, the man who nearly took the MLW World Heavyweight Championship from him just a few weeks ago. Their championship rivalry has hardly had time to cool, yet the Blood King must now depend on the same challenger who came close to ending his reign.
Across the ring, Mistico has an even more immediate reason to distrust his partner. Aries interfered in Mistico’s Opera Cup opening-round match against Trevor Lee, causing a count-out that ended his pursuit of a three-peat. Now, the man responsible for that heartbreak is the man Mistico needs to help him win.
The assignment creates opportunities for every competitor to settle a score at the expense of his own team. Will Bishop cooperate with Kross? Can Mistico put his anger toward Aries aside? And who will be the first to decide that payback matters more than victory?
Four rivals enter Charleston with unfinished business, but only two can leave as the winning team. Whether either partnership survives the match is another question entirely.
