Normally ACH trains for big bouts in his familiar Austin, TX surroundings. However, this Wednesday’s Opera Cup semi-finals is no average big fight. This fight is a pivotal bout as ACH looks to cement this new chapter in his career.
After receiving an invitation from Ross and Marshall Von Erich to come out to Hawaii, ACH packed his bags and flew out to train for 10 days with the World Tag Team Champs. Staying on the Von Erich ranch in Kauai, ACH hopes to build a fight game to defeat Lawlor, a rival the Von Erichs are quite familiar with.
“ACH isn’t just a fellow Texan, he’s a friend and we’re excited to have him join us out here for a few days,” said Ross Von Erich.
“Man, ACH has so much knowledge to share, I think we’re all learning from each other during this mini fight camp,” said Marshall Von Erich. “And if there’s one thing I think all Texans can talk shop and bond over, it’s shutting up Lawlor and beating his ass.”
Winning the coveted Opera Cup brings not only historical connotations but the legacy building moment that most athletes strive for.
Standing in ACH’s way is one of the most unpredictable and decorated MLW fighters in the league history in “Filthy” Tom Lawlor. A former World Heavyweight Champion and the 2018 Battle Riot, when you step in the ring, you’re not just dealing with Lawlor but the x-factors associated with his fight squad, Team Filthy.
With ACH training with the Von Erichs in his preparation for this Wednesday’s Opera Cup semi-final encounter, a new friendship is forged as three Texans unite in what could be a powerful trio in 2021.
However, ACH remains focussed on this Wednesday. For ACH is just a 3 count away from entering the 2020 Opera Cup Finals against Low Ki.
