Round three of the 2021 MLW Open Draft had some major announcements in store as Alicia Atout was on the case for what happened to be a monumental night for the league.
Atout first revealed that the historic Opera Cup will be returning in 2021! With talent like Davey Richards making their league debuts in Philadelphia on July 10, Alicia mentioned how how intense this year’s competition is going to be.
The third round of the draft showed that both Savio Vega and Zenshi will be returning to the roster. With “El Jefe” Cesar Duran taking hold of Vega’s IWA Puerto Rico, what ramifications could that have for the wrestling legend?
We had a double dose of new signees this week as northeast wrestling star Lee Moriarty is the first competitor announced for competition. The Pittsburgh native will be traveling across state to the city of Brotherly Love to make his debut with the league on July 10 at the 2300 Arena.

Also joining MLW will be AAA Lucha Libre’s Aramis. Atout noted that Aramis, who has been heavily scouted and recruited by Konnan, has signed a multi-year deal with the company and it’s a big get for Cesar Duran.
