MLW.com

Six matches are on tap for Burning Crush as Mads Krugger looks to put an end to Jacob Fatu!

Tonight is MLW Burning Crush as Philadelphia is in store for a stacked card. The new MLW World Heavyweight Champion Satoshi Kojima is in action, but former World Champion Alex Kane starts everything off. He comes out and shows his appreciation for the fans and getting behind the BOMAYE boom that has swept across pro wrestling. However, Kane is considering stepping away for awhile. The crowd pleads with Alex to do otherwise and out comes Mr. Thomas to talk some sense into his friend. The two embrace but then we see a hooded individual in a lavish driveway with several vehicles surrounding him. He flips his hood up and it’s none other than one of wrestling’s hottest free agents AJ Francis!

Francis is smoking a cigar and credits Kane for the work he has done “for the people,” but believes he can take BOMAYE and the movement to the next level. Then we get word that AJ will indeed be on hand at Intimidation Games! Alex Kane is clearly re-motivated and has a new target in Francis!

Marcus gets caught up top by Deppen with a kick and Griffin McCoy finishes it off with a superplex and TJ Crawford crashes down with a splash. 1-2-no! Mathers gets isolated before tagging in Nolo who goes on a flurry of offense including a sit-out powerbomb! Austin Luke then takes it to Deppen and Griffin with a shotgun dropkick. Mathers almost gets the win via Crawford, but that gets broken up.

Mathers continues to show his upward potential as he nails a beautiful 450 splash on McCoy, but pops up in pain. Deppen hits him with a running kick and gets the 1-2-3!

WINNERS: Tony Deppen, TJ Crawford & Griffin McCoy

We cut to The Calling who calls Raven a “false prophet” as Sami Callihan and Rickey Shane Page promise blood will pour from their adversaries. RSP takes on a debuting Jake Crist tonight.

Next we see Matt Riddle. He issues an open challenge to any NJPW fighter as the Super King of Bros is up for any type of battle!

MATCH 4
Zayda vs. Delmi Exo vs. Tiara James vs. Notorious Mimi

Before the match, Delmi exchanges some words with Salina de la Renta as the two have unfinished business. The bell rings and Zayda quickly finds herself in turmoil and in the arms of Brett Ryan Gosselin on the outside! Tiara James then boots both of them down! Delmi then does a suicide dive to the floor! Then Notorios Mimi hits a flying cross body!

Back in the ring, Notorious gets a near fall and Tiara James hits a running lariat to get a near fall of her own. Zayda hits a tornado DDT on Mimi and tries to cover Delmi for a two count.

Delmi fires back and nails a beautiful Northern Lights suplex for a close one on Mimi. Zayda soon catches all her opponents up top to deliver an impressive tower of doom!

Tiara hits a Humble Her on Zayda, but Mimi thwarts her efforts with two harsh kicks. Salina stand up at commentary and her and Delmi talk trash. Zayda shoves her out and hits Mimi with an Unprettier for the 1-2-3!

WINNER: Zayda

This outcome is not ultimate for Salina as Zayda gets on the mic with BRG and the two start gloating with Zayda noting she’s on the prowl for gold. Salina runs down the Federette, but Zayda is stacking up those wins!

The feed cuts and Mads Krule Krugger makes it clear he plans to end Jacob Fatu tonight!

MATCH 3
National Openweight Championship
Jake Crist vs. Rickey Shane Page (c)

Jake Crist MEANS business as he kicks RSP and then dives onto the outside with a tope before running back out with a tornado DDT. Crist then hits a beautiful Asai moonsault onto RSP!

The page turns for Page when he hits a powerslam in the ring on Crist. RSP then flings Crist across with ring with a modified gordbuster! Page continues to show his power with a big back body drop. Crist fights on and kips up to hit a top rope cross body on RSP for a near fall! He follows up with a big spinning DDT! Cannonball tries to get involved but Crist decks him which leads to Sami Callihan to attack! The bell sounds and it’s a DQ!

WINNER via DQ: Jake Crist

The attack begins but Akira quickly comes out to even the odds. He soon leaps off the top with a chair on his back. However, Crist gets isolated as a table gets set up in the ring.

Akira comes to and gets Crist a chair who leaps off and crashes onto Cannonball, sending him through a table!

We see MLW CEO Court Bauer backstage and in comes a raging Cesar Duran. He makes it clear that he deserves to be matchmaker again in MLW and promises Court a huge influx of Azteca Lucha talent, even possibly their own promotion. A great place to start this would be Chicago. Court inquires about the talent set to be there, asking if Mistico is one of those names. Duran says absolutely and the two shake on it.

Suddenly just as Duran exits, in enters MSL who wants a Tag Team Title shot for WTF. Court considers and then shakes MSL’s hand before desanitizing.

We cut to Cozy Max making their way into the 2300 Arena and they’re stopped by Matthew Justice and One Called Manders as they introduce themselves. Manders offers CozyMax a title shot anytime and in comes MSL with Davey Boy Smith Jr., Richard Holliday and Tom Lawlor. He says he’s the only legitimate promoter around these parts and Kojima shoves a bagel in his mouth! WTF is appalled! This doesn’t take long to get settled in the ring, however…

MATCH 4
Tom Lawlor vs. Matthew Justice

This fight doesn’t even start in the ring as both fighters brawl on the outside. Justice tosses Lawlor in the ring to get the match started but MSL holds onto Justice’s feet and Lawlor kicks him off.

Lawlor soon takes control in the ring and nails Justice with a dragon screw. Tom continues to keep Justice grounded. He gets a near fall after a belly-to-back suplex. Justice tries to fight on but Lawlor sends him into the middle turnbuckle.

Lawlor cinches in an anaconda vice and Justice makes it to the ropes. Justice fires back from up top but Tom continues to keep on his game before disrobing of his American flag track jacket and shorts. However, that gives Justice enough time to hit a tornado DDT: 1-2-no!

Saint Laurent grabs hold of Justice’s foot once more, but Justice hits a spear. Lawlor is down for the three count, but MSL smooches referee Frank Gastineau! Out comes Manders who lariats MSL down after he takes his Stetson. Lawlor makes the most of the distraction and connects with a roundhouse kick to Justice: 1-2-3.

WINNER: Tom Lawlor

Post-fight, Lawlor calls Joe Dombrowski “Joe Rogan” and wants a moment of silence for MSL after he got hurt. He then runs down Philadelphia and calls the long dead Ben Franklin a fat pig.

Justice then dives onto Lawlor to the outside as SGC are still ready to hook up with WTF!

Matt Riddle’s open contract has been signed! He’ll be facing Big Bad Tito at Intimidation Games!

Out comes Cesar Duran who reveals who he’s acquired for Azteca Lucha: Mistico and Atlantis! Two legends of the lucha! He then has some harsh words for Salina who swiftly comes out with Rocky Romero and Jesus Rodriguez.

She said that Duran should say demeaning words to her face, and Duran fires back that he fronted her money and now she’s upset that Averno got his ass beat by Mistico and Romero lost his title to La Mascara Dorado. Salina says that she has Duran crying for his job when she got him outed of MLW last year and Duran says that never happened. Duran says he does see fear though, because Romero doesn’t want to lose his Middleweight Title to Mistico. Salina shakes hands, indicating they’re up for the challenge. Duran then pulls her in to say something and Salina shoves him down! Rocky and Jesus hold her back as order gets restored!

MATCH 5
Lumberjack & Jill Match
Love, Doug vs. Brett Ryan Gosselin

BRG talks some trash before the bout, but it doesn’t pay off as Doug lariats him over the top rope and the lumberjacks do their job at getting him in the ring. Doug goes on the offensive but BRG manages to get Doug out of the ring on the side of the ne’er do wells and they take liberties with Doug.

Doug, however, shows his resiliency and literally takes a leap of faith onto the lumberjacks (and Jills!) Doug continues to attack Brett on the outside but as he’s getting back in the ring, BRG kicks the rope and into the loins of Love, Doug! He then nails the Unprettier on Doug and gets the 1-2-3!

WINNER: Brett Ryan Gosselin

We see Jake Crist who is still fired up from his fight earlier against RSP and Akira wants to take The Calling down the road of Carcosa. Raven lays down some words before we see Blue Meanie appear in Raven’s new flock!

MATCH 6
WTF (Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Richard Holliday) vs. CozyMax

This match is a fight as expected as both teams show their veteran savvy. Tag team synergy is in full force and when Davey Boy Smith and Kojima clash, it’s a battle of power. Both men collide into one another until Kojima finally shoulder tackles him down. Okumura gets the tag and downs DBS with a flatliner, but DBS soon finds his groove with a stalling vertical suplex. Holliday gets the tag and does a Ronnie Garvin stomp on Okumura.

Kojima gets the tag and runs rough shod, including machine gun chops to Holliday. Kojima hits a DDT to DBS and then CozyMax nails a double team that has Okumura nailing a Cozy Cutter!

Kojima soon nails one of his own on Holliday and goes for the Lariato, but Holliday ducks and jabs Kojima. He charges at the champ, but gets caught with the Lariato! 1-2-3!

WINNERS: CozyMax

It’s main event time.

Krugger goes to the outside, but Fatu topes towards him! Back in the ring, Fatu connects with a spear that turns him inside out and gets a near fall. Fatu hits a swanton bomb and gets another close fall!

Krule Krugger stumbles to the outside but Fatu is far from done. He goes charging at Krugger and sends his adversary crashing through a second table!

Fatu is in control and nails his Samoan Moonsault finisher, but can’t make the cover in time. By the time he does, Krugger musters up enough energy to kick out,

Fatu then nails Krugger with a hip attack. Krugger struggles to his feet and then throws a fireball in Fatu’s face! Krugger then hits his Scorched Earth full nelson slam for the 1-2-3.

WINNER: Mads Krugger
