If you thought MLW was done with New York City this summer, think again because we’ve got Summer Of The Beasts Part II and there’s three matches on tap in the Big Apple! We start off with a Featherweight division fight!
MATCH 1
Miyu Yamashita vs. Delmi Exo
If you want to see a HARD-HITTING Featherweight fight, Miyu Yamashita and Delmi Exo delivered. The two women exchanged kicked and forearms in a heated exchange. Exo had the Delmi Driver on her mind as she kept trying to put it on Miyu, but the former Featherweight Champ’s shoulder got dislocated and an Azteca henchman had to pop it back into place! She powered through the pain to finally hit the Delmi Driver and get the definitive 1-2-3!
WINNER: Delmi Exo
Post fight, Azteca henchmen hold up a Mexican flag as Delmi declares her goal is to get back at Janai Kai and reclaim her World Featherweight Championship!
MATCH 2
Mr. Thomas (with Alex Kane) vs. Mads Krule Krugger
Mr. Thomas showed up to fight against his fellow giant in Mads Krule Krugger. He pulled out all stops against the CONTRA Unit leader including a massive flip dive over the top rope to take Krugger off his game! However, Kruger planted Thomas very hard on the apron as both man exchanged suplexes. Mr. Thomas shows so much resilience in the battle, but everything gets thwarted when Ikuro Kwon mists him in the eyes! It allows Krugger to get his Full Nelson Facebuster on Thomas for the pinfalll victory.
WINNER: Mads Krule Krugger
Krugger appears all ready for his World Title shot against Kojima at Fightland Sept. 14!
MAIN EVENT
Timothy Thatcher vs. Bobby Fish (with Brett Ryan Gosselin)
BRG joins commentary as Fish grapples up with the “Sweet Scientist” Timothy Thatcher in the main event and these two fighters put on a clinic of a chess match. Thatcher very much tries to keep Fish grounded. However, Fish gets some rock solid kicks in that cause Thatcher to reevaluate. Timothy goes to his supreme striking ability soon enough with some rapid European uppercuts. This causes Bobby to resort to a low blow cheap shot where he rolls Thatcher up for an underhanded 1-2-3!
WINNER: Bobby Fish
Post fight, BRG catches up with Fish on the entryway where they show their distaste for New York City before BRG claims that they are going to show everyone why they’re the “epitome of excellence.”
