The title change went down before a sold-out crowd at Arena México as part of the landmark MLW vs. CMLL supercard. Already reigning Mexican National Tag Team Champions, Magnus and Rugido now hold gold on both sides of the border, solidifying their place among the most dominant teams in the sport.
The victory also marked the first time a CMLL-based tag team has won the MLW World Tag Team Titles, sending shockwaves through both locker rooms and igniting a new era of international tag team warfare.
