Major League Wrestling’s Azteca Lucha erupted inside a sold-out Cicero Stadium Saturday night, capping off a week-long international series that began in Arena México and ended in absolute chaos—and glory—in Chicago.

🔥 NEW ERA: Los Depredadores Retain Tag Gold

In the opening contest, the new MLW World Tag Team Champions Los Depredadores (Rugido & Magnus) successfully defended their belts against Dark Panther and Blue Panther Jr., marking their first title defense since dethroning CozyMAX in Mexico City. With the Cicero crowd thunderous, the CMLL duo proved their win was no fluke, showcasing high-speed precision and brutal tandem offense.

💪 Hammerstone Returns with a Vengeance

Alex Hammerstone made his singles return to MLW, defeating Japanese legend Satoshi Kojima in a hard-hitting battle of former MLW World Champions. A classic match that could main event any show in the world, saw two MLW all-time greats have a classic.

🐐 The Young GOAT Strikes

Azteca 13 never made it to his match. Out of nowhere, Myron Reed returned to MLW, slicing through him with a jaw-dropping cutter. Reed grabbed the mic and declared he’s back to burn down the injustices across MLW. One word summed it all up: Injustice.

🌊 Atlantis & Esfinge Triumph

In a classic lucha libre tag bout, Atlantis and Esfinge defeated Hechicero and Guerrero Maya Jr. before a capacity crowd.

🏆 Guerrero Holds the Gold

Ultimo Guerrero successfully defended his newly-won MLW National Openweight Title in a triple threat against Zandokan Jr. and Bárbaro Cavernario. But the victory celebration didn’t last long. As Guerrero walked backstage, Hammerstone jumped him and declared he’s coming to reclaim what he built—draped in the American flag for good measure.

👑 World Title Drama: Riddle Retains, But Chaos Ensues

In a hard-hitting title fight, Matt Riddle overcame injured ribs and outside interference to retain the MLW World Heavyweight Championship against the undefeated Donovan Dijak, who was cornered by the huckster manager Saint Laurent. The bout broke down after CONTRA’s Mads Krule Krugger stormed in with a briefcase guaranteeing a title shot against Riddle anytime, anywhere —only to accidentally flatten Dijak. After the dust settled, Riddle stood tall, but Krugger and Dijak may have just ignited a potential war.

🎭 Mistico’s Triumphant Return Turns Tragic

The main event saw Mistico return from injury and reclaim his dominance with win over Ikuro Kwon in a triple threat also featuring Templario. But the celebration turned ugly when Kwon attacked Mistico post-match—and tore off his iconic mask. In a shocking moment, CONTRA’s Kwon stood tall, holding the stolen mask high for all to see.
