On last night’s MLW FUSION 200, Shotzi’s Monster Hunt led her into the swamps, where the trail turned darker, stranger, and far more dangerous than anyone could have imagined. There, submerged beneath the black water, she discovered Mads Krule Krugger.
Silent. Buried. Waiting.
Shotzi did not run. She did not turn back. Instead, she shocked the masked mercenary back into being, jolting Krugger out of the depths and resurrecting one of the most terrifying forces ever connected to CONTRA Unit.
Now the question becomes: what has Shotzi unleashed?
Krugger’s return could change the balance of power inside CONTRA… or tear it apart. The masked mercenary has never been easily controlled, and his resurrection raises dangerous questions for every soldier operating under CONTRA’s banner.
It also raises an even darker question: how will The Serpent react?
For months, the mysterious figure known only as The Serpent has lurked in the shadows, issuing orders, moving pieces, and tightening his grip over CONTRA’s campaign of fear. Krugger’s past defiance already made him a target. Shotzi dragging him back from the swamp is not likely to please whoever — or whatever — is pulling the strings.
If The Serpent wanted Krugger buried, Shotzi may have just started a war inside the war.
