Based out of Los Angeles, Romero splits his time between fighting and recording music. Whether it’s stealing the show in MLW, recording a music videos or power brokering big moves in New Japan, the sky is the limit for Romero.

Romero’s start in the sport trace back to his training in the NJPW Dojo, where he honed his craft under the guidance of legendary mentors, including Antonio Inoki. His time with NJPW laid the foundation for the strong style and technical excellence that define his wrestling identity. Soon thereafter, Romero would make his debut in MLW in 2004, as a member of the Havana Pitbulls.

Over the years, Romero would claim championships in New Japan Pro Wrestling, becoming a multi-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion.

A proud and powerful member of Promociones Dorado, Romero’s alliance with the influential Salina de la Renta has sent shockwaves through the league. Guided by de la Renta, Romero quickly captured gold and with it, power.

In October 2023, Romero won the MLW World Middleweight Title, a momentous title fight, which saw him become a double champion, having already conquered the CMLL World Historic Welterweight Title.

Living an electric life, from late nights in Roppongi to stealing the show in Mexico or winning gold in MLW, Rocky Romero is a force unlike any other in the game.
