Killer Kross’ SuperFight Title Match Revealed, Yota Tsuji Is Coming, and Shotzi Survives HATE

The World Title main event takes shape, Philadelphia witnesses a championship thriller, and Glasgow’s hooligans cross a vicious new line.

Saturday Night SuperFight’s main event came into focus as MLW Fusion rocked a sold-out Philadelphia. Killer Kross offered Josh Bishop another crack at the World Heavyweight Championship, Matt Riddle fought through Glasgow’s numbers game in his Opera Cup debut, and Shotzi went to war with STARDOM’s Rina.

Kross Backs Bishop as Dijak Tries to Hijack His Opportunity

Josh Bishop had done the unthinkable. By pinning Killer Kross in the New York City Street Fight, the Intense Icon became the first wrestler to hand Kross a pinfall loss in MLW. With Scarlett at his side and Philadelphia roaring behind him, the World Heavyweight Champion gave Bishop his due.

Kross acknowledged their brutal first championship encounter and Bishop’s subsequent victory, making it clear that he would not hold a deserving challenger back. That recognition brought out the Skyscrapers — and Donovan Dijak immediately tried to make Bishop’s moment his own.

Dijak argued that the Street Fight victory belonged to the team, then declared that he deserved the championship opportunity as its leader. Bishop had scored the pin, but Dijak wanted the reward. As he monopolized the microphone and told Bishop when he could speak, the tension between the two became impossible to ignore.

Kross challenged Bishop to stand up for himself and cut through Dijak’s demands with a blockbuster offer: another fight for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. The champion wanted the man who had beaten him, and the MLW Nation wanted to see them collide again.

SuperFight Main Event Confirmed: Kross vs. Bishop — Last Man Standing

Later in the broadcast, MLW Insider Rich Bocchini delivered the news that raised the stakes even further. Following discussions between MLW owner Court Bauer and league officials, Josh Bishop’s rematch was approved for Saturday Night SuperFight on November 7.

The main event will be a Last Man Standing match for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.

Their first singles collision pushed both men to the limit. Bishop then proved he could pin the champion in New York. In Chicago, neither a pinfall nor a submission will settle the score. One man must leave the other unable to answer a ten-count.

Kross has given Bishop the opportunity he earned. Now the Intense Icon gets his chance to take the championship on MLW’s biggest night of the year, live on pay-per-view exclusively on VEEPS.

ZAMAYA Steamrolls Tiara James

Tiara James returned to Philadelphia with insults for the city, its fans, and the undefeated powerhouse they had rallied behind. Calling ZAMAYA a fraud, James stepped directly into the path of a wrecking ball — and paid for every word.

ZAMAYA flattened Tiara with a thunderous clothesline before the match officially began. Once the bell rang, she finished the job with a crushing Death Valley Driver, adding another emphatic victory to her undefeated run. Tiara promised Philadelphia a top-tier experience; ZAMAYA delivered a demolition.

The performance also attracted ominous attention. A cryptic message congratulated ZAMAYA on disposing of James while warning that success can draw the eyes of someone she might wish had never noticed her. Major League Z keeps winning, but someone is watching.

CONTRA Reveals the Origins of Its Russian War Machine

Josef Samael delivered a chilling account of Masha’s path into CONTRA, tracing her origins through unforgiving Russian winters, sambo training, and exile in wrestling’s Siberia. The Serpent described finding a soldier without an army and giving her instincts a purpose.

That purpose is the destruction of MLW. Samael presented Masha as a weapon sharpened for CONTRA’s mission, with personal glory sacrificed to the ambitions of the unit. Her exile is over, her army is assembled, and the Women’s World Championship division has another devastating threat advancing toward it.

Okumura Submits Love Doug in a Lightning Match

Love Doug returned to MLW hoping to make a winning connection, but Okumura had no interest in a happy ending. With Ikuro Kwon stationed at ringside, CONTRA’s veteran punished Doug with the cold efficiency of a man fully committed to Samael’s cause.

Doug threatened an early upset, but taking the fight outside left him exposed to CONTRA’s presence. Okumura seized control and eventually trapped him in Sasori-gatame, cranking down on the submission until Doug had no choice but to surrender.

CONTRA collected another victory, and Okumura reinforced how dangerous he has become under the Serpent’s influence. The unit’s terror campaign continues to gather momentum.

Austin Aries Rejects Matt Riddle’s Challenge

Austin Aries continued to dismiss Matt Riddle’s pursuit of a championship match during an interview with Rich Bocchini. The National Openweight Champion insisted that he decides when he defends his title and who deserves the opportunity.

The self-styled Phantom of the Opera Cup claimed Riddle had done nothing to warrant a shot and declared that pressure would not change his mind. With Aries still alive in the Opera Cup and Riddle about to enter the tournament, however, the Rude Dude had an immediate chance to strengthen his case.

Matt Riddle Defeats Mark Coffey in His Opera Cup Debut

Matt Riddle’s first Opera Cup appearance came with an entire gang of Glasgow troublemakers attached. Mark Coffey brought the punishment, Wolfgang lurked at ringside, and Joe Coffey joined commentary to complain about officiating while promoting GBOT’s brand of “designer violence.”

Riddle answered with explosive suplexes, blistering strikes, and the resilience that had carried him to the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. When Glasgow’s numbers threatened to overwhelm him, the Bro launched himself onto both Mark and Wolfgang outside the ring, taking the fight straight into the hooligans’ teeth.

Mark refused to fold, pushing Riddle through a bruising closing stretch and threatening to derail his tournament debut. But the Bro finally blasted Coffey with a cutter and followed with the BroStone to secure the victory.

Riddle advances to the quarterfinals, where CONTRA’s Concrete Dragon, Ikuro Kwon, awaits. He survived Glasgow’s gang mentality; now he must contend with a unit determined to seize the Opera Cup.

GBOT’s Savage Attack Explains CJ Gallows’ Disappearance

CJ Gallows was scheduled to make his MLW singles debut, but the young second-generation wrestler never checked in. Later, GBOT demanded that footage be aired, revealing the horrifying reason behind his absence.

The Glasgow Boys had intercepted the 18-year-old on his way into the arena. After taunting him about his father, they unleashed a vicious assault, with Joe Coffey railing against nepotism as the group brutalized a rookie who had arrived to compete.

Security subsequently located CJ bloodied and beaten inside a dumpster. He was loaded into an ambulance and placed in the care of emergency personnel, turning what should have been a proud debut into a nightmare.

Glasgow’s vendetta against the Good Brothers had reached their family. Their actions left the broadcast team outraged and CJ’s condition a troubling unanswered question.

Shotzi Survives Rina to Retain the Women’s World Championship

Rina arrived with the confidence of a challenger who had already helped STARDOM defeat Shotzi and Lady Frost in New York. The Pink Devil attacked the champion’s arm, unleashed punishing throws, and drove her knees into Shotzi’s abdomen, repeatedly threatening to take the championship back to Japan.

Shotzi fought through the punishment and fired back with a suplex into the corner, a furious striking exchange, and a spectacular suicide dive that sent Rina crashing into the barricade. Philadelphia rose with every comeback as the champion hurled herself into the fight.

Rina escalated the assault by whipping and choking Shotzi outside the referee’s view, then came agonizingly close to victory. The champion survived, countered another Pink Devil attempt, and eventually climbed into the Drop Zone. A crushing senton sealed the pinfall and kept the MLW Women’s World Championship around Shotzi’s waist.

HATE had thrown everything at her, and Shotzi was still standing after an absolute war. With Masha marching under CONTRA’s flag and Tessa Blanchard’s SuperFight debut approaching, however, the champion’s list of threats continues to grow.

Yota Tsuji Is Coming to SuperFight

Fusion closed with a message from New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Yota Tsuji, who confirmed he is heading to Chicago for Saturday Night SuperFight. His arrival adds another formidable international presence to a pay-per-view already headlined by Kross and Bishop’s Last Man Standing championship showdown.

Next week, STARDOM’s Saya Kamitani makes her MLW singles debut, while Trevor Lee and Austin Aries renew hostilities in an Opera Cup quarterfinal. Their previous encounter earned a Best Bout Bonus; now tournament survival is on the line.
