Hauser made his MLW debut in the 2024 Battle RIOT, instantly becoming one of the most talked-about competitors in the match. Fans will never forget last year’s RIOT, when Hauser climbed a ladder and launched himself onto another combatant, crashing through a table in one of the most jaw-dropping moments in Battle RIOT history.

Now, Hauser returns to the RIOT once again — and the question is unavoidable:

What will Paul Walter Hauser do next?

This marks Hauser’s third Battle RIOT appearance, and with each entry, his unpredictability has only grown. Equal parts fearless, impulsive, and opportunistic, Hauser thrives in environments where chaos reigns and creativity can become a weapon.

This year, the stakes are higher than ever.

After MLW Nation demanded it, the MLW World Heavyweight Championship will be defended inside the Battle RIOT itself. With the sport’s top prize hanging in the balance, Hauser isn’t just looking to steal the spotlight — he’s chasing history.

Adding another layer of intrigue, Hauser enters Battle RIOT VIII amid a recent and very public quarrel with his trainer, Paul London. The tension between student and mentor has been simmering, raising questions about Hauser’s mindset and whether old alliances could fracture inside the RIOT.

The Battle RIOT features 40 competitors, with a new entrant every 60 seconds. Eliminations come by pinfall, submission, or being thrown over the top rope, with no disqualifications and weapons legal. Alliances are temporary. Survival is everything. The last competitor standing leaves with the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.

On January 29 in Kissimmee, ladders may fly, tables may shatter, and logic may not apply.

Paul Walter Hauser is back in the RIOT… and the wild card is in play.
