Philadelphia felt the fury as MLW Fusion delivered a combustible night of international fights, championship threats, and bitter grudges barreling toward Saturday Night SuperFight. Austin Aries and Trevor Lee collided in the Opera Cup, STARDOM’s Saya Kamitani tested Lady Frost, and Killer Kross went hunting for Josh Bishop. Watch the full episode now, streaming free on Tubi.
Joe Coffey Wins — Then Twists the Knife
With Mark Coffey and Wolfgang lurking at ringside, Joe Coffey opened the night against Andrew “The Giant” Everett. Everett’s spectacular aerial offense had Philadelphia roaring, but beating one Glasgow Boy meant keeping eyes on all three.
Mark’s involvement created a costly opening. Everett crashed on a missed Swanton, and Joe nearly took his head off with a spinning lariat to secure the victory.
Then came the ugliness. Joe dedicated the win to the hospitalized CJ Gallows, mocking the teenage rookie GBOT had savagely assaulted before turning his attention to Trevor Lee’s Southern Crown Championship. The Glasgow Boys want gold, and they are leaving a trail of wreckage to get it.
A Devastating Update on CJ Gallows
The MLW Insider detailed the horrific consequences of GBOT’s attack: a concussion, fractured jaw, damaged teeth, and a bruised lung. With CJ’s jaw wired shut and his return to the ring ruled out while doctors monitor his recovery, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson cut short their overseas trip to be by his side.
MLW CEO Court Bauer imposed a considerable fine on the Glasgow Boys, with termination of their contracts still a possibility. Fans were encouraged to send their support through MLW’s social channels using #RiseUpCJ.
Josh Bishop Destroys Rich Moya — and Defies Dijak
Josh Bishop bulldozed Rich Moya, finishing the demolition with Exit 187. At the broadcast table, however, Donovan Dijak seemed far more concerned with controlling Bishop than celebrating his dominance.
Dijak insisted the Skyscrapers needed a leader and a follower, positioning himself as the man entitled to the World Championship opportunity. Bishop had a different message, grabbing the microphone and calling out Killer Kross.
The World Heavyweight Champion soon arrived looking for a fight. Bishop had issued the invitation, and Kross intended to collect.
The Good Brothers Demand a Chicago Street Fight
Speaking from outside CJ’s hospital room, the Good Brothers delivered their answer to GBOT. At Saturday Night SuperFight, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson will defend the MLW World Tag Team Championship against the Glasgow Boys On Top in a Chicago Street Fight.
GBOT wanted the champions’ attention. Now they have two furious men coming for them, with championship gold and a family’s vengeance driving every punch.
Saya Kamitani Conquers Lady Frost
Lady Frost brought her vicious “murder gymnastics” to an international showdown with Saya Kamitani, while Scarlett joined commentary to scout two dangerous competitors. With Rina accompanying the Phoenix Queen, H.A.T.E.’s presence loomed over a ferocious fight.
Frost pushed Kamitani to the limit, connecting with the Chiller Driller for a breathtaking near fall. But the STARDOM standout survived, fought through Frost’s relentless offense, and finally secured the three-count.
The confrontation only grew more volatile afterward. Women’s World Champion Shotzi stepped forward and declared that a match with Kamitani would tear the ring apart. When Lady Frost and H.A.T.E. circled the champion, Scarlett came to her aid — and Zamaya charged into the fight swinging.
Six women tore into each other as the division’s simmering rivalries exploded. Shotzi had reinforcements, but every woman involved had her own ambitions.
Tessa Blanchard and Yota Tsuji Put SuperFight on Notice
Saturday Night SuperFight’s international stakes climbed even higher with an exclusive message from New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Yota Tsuji. The IWGP Heavyweight Champion is headed to MLW, adding another seismic attraction to November 7.
Tessa Blanchard also sent a pointed warning from Mexico. The Undeniable Diamond made clear that her debut at sold-out Cicero Stadium would be a reminder of exactly who she is and what she can do. Her sights are set on making the entire wrestling world remember.
Austin Aries Schemes His Way Into the Opera Cup Semifinals
Trevor Lee entered the main event determined to settle his issue with Austin Aries, whose interference had tainted Lee’s earlier advancement against Mistico. The Southern Crown Champion wanted a fight, and the National Openweight Champion gave him a punishing one.
Aries relentlessly attacked Lee’s neck and back, but Lee answered with explosive offense and a succession of agonizingly close near falls. Even a brutal attack on the floor could not keep Lee from beating the count and continuing the fight.
With Lee refusing to stay down, Aries reached for another scheme. Bringing both championship belts into play, he attempted to frame Lee for a disqualification. As Lee pleaded his case to the referee, Aries struck with the IED and followed with a brainbuster to steal the victory.
The self-proclaimed “Phantom of the Opera Cup” advances to the semifinals. Earlier in the night, Aries also flatly refused “Rude Dude” Matt Riddle’s pursuit of a championship opportunity — another issue growing harder for the champion to escape.
Kross and Bishop Take the Fight Into the Street
Fusion closed with the World Heavyweight Champion and his challenger finally finding each other in the parking lot. With Scarlett nearby, Kross and Bishop collided in a wild fight that spilled into the street.
Dijak’s orders meant nothing. The November 7 date meant nothing. Kross and Bishop wanted to tear each other apart immediately, leaving a terrifying preview of their Last Man Standing World Championship fight at Saturday Night SuperFight.
Next on Fusion, the Opera Cup continues with Matt Riddle versus Ikuro Kwon and Diego Hill versus LaBron Kozone. More semifinal spots are at stake, and Aries will be watching.
